2nd Trombone - Lyndon

When did you start playing?

When I was 9 years old at Akrotiri Primary School in Cyprus.

Banding/Musical experience:

I joined the newly formed Dunchurch Training Band in 2004 and progressed through to the Main Band in 2006.

Through the school I have also played with the County Music Service Junior Wind Band, and now with the Area Youth Orchestra.

Favourite banding highlight(s):

Playing on stage at Birmingham Symphony Hall with the International Trombone Federation and Guinness Book of Records attempt for mass trombone playing.

Other hobbies and interests:

Sub aqua diving and underwater basket weaving with the Rugby Sub Aqua Club. I am learning to navigate at the murky depths of 20 meters!

Learning to drive with the under 17's Car Club.

Astronomy and star gazing.
